Santa Ponca I www.habitatgolf.es
Golf Santa Ponca I is a 6,543m, par 72 course which was inaugurated
in January 1977. The 10th Hole is one of the longest in Europe.
Designed by Folco Nardi with assistance from Pepe Gancedo,
Golf Ponca I covers and area of 73 hectares. It is a long,
wide course with many indigenous trees and vegetation, water
hazards and bunkers. Santa Ponca I is one of Mallorca’s
busiest courses, because many national and international tournaments
take place here.
Santa Ponca II
Golf Santa Ponça II inaugurated in December 1991 is
a 6,053m, Par 72 course. Many of the holes are situated in
a small pine forest or among large lakes, offering players
a variety of game options. The 18th hole I especially interesting,
being located on an island in the shape of the island of Mallorca.
II also offers opportunities to learn golf on a training course
350m long, with tees in both directions of more than 100m,
a putting green and a golf school.
Santa Ponca III
This is a 9 hole course which was inaugurated in January 1999.
It has a length of 1,599m for men and 1,332m for ladies, both
par 30, with three par 4 holes and six par 3’s. It is
an ideal course for beginners and players who love a short,
precise game.
Five minutes away is Poniente and ten minutes away towards
the South West is Golf D’Andratx; heading back towards
Palma you have – Son Vida, Son Muntaner, Real Bendinat,
Son Antem and Son Termens.
Located on the other side of the island but still within and
hours journey are the courses of Pollensa, Alcanada, Capdepera,
Pula, Canyamel, La Rotana, Vall d’Or and Son Servera.
